This year, our pupils and staff got together for their annual Christmas lunch at the historic “Convocation House”, which is right under the University Church of St. Mary’s. Not only was there Christmas cheer, congenial company and festive food on offer but the building itself provided plenty of interest too. Back in the early Mediaeval period (C.14th), this was where the University Parliament met, where degrees were awarded and lectures given. All in all it was a very atmospheric and evocative place for our pupils and staff to mark the end of the Michaelmas term.
