Our recent OFSTED welfare report praised the college’s focus on emotional wellbeing and the positive relationships between staff and students, concluding that pupils ‘feel confident in the support and are able to focus on their studies’. The college is small, and this creates a familial community which provides pupils with many sources of support.

Carfax College is extremely attentive to its pupils’ wellbeing and the college works hard to ensure that every pupil is happy. Pupils meet with a personal tutor a minimum of once a week, and this time is used for checking in on both academic and personal matters. We encourage our pupils to raise any concerns they might have, and we address any issues promptly and sensitively.
