The first week of term saw our students making a trip down to the local fire station to learn about the role of the Fire and Rescue service in keeping our communities safe and secure. This trip is one of a number of events planned for this term which will showcase the role of local institutions in our community, which is our cross-curricular topic for Term.

Our students were lucky enough to be the first students in the fire station since lockdown. They learnt all about rescue protocol and equippment and some were even brave enough to have a go at putting out fires with the pressure-hose!
